Jim got a late start to his work day - he first had to visit the doctor to follow up on his kidney stone issues and get the results of the x-ray he had done last week. Thankfully, everything is stable - he still has a stone in the other kidney that we're hoping just stays put!
After the doctor, he drove out to the Drywall Center to pick up more foam baffles and insulation. Once he got back, he got busy working in the corner of the auto bay. He got all the holes drilled and new foam rafter tail baffles made and installed. He got the very corner all stuffed with fiberglass.
Mid-afternoon, Jim switched to drywall work. He got another piece marked and in place in the wood shop. He had to shut off the power to the receptacle and take it apart - then do the initial cut for the box.
All in place and fastening...
After that piece was done, time to move up into the apartment. Although we still have a bucket of plaster to use in the banjo, it was time to open our third bucket of plaster! Here Jim is mixing it up...
Since the kitchen area is all taped, Jim moved back into the second bedroom to do the ceiling/sloped wall joint with the new tape...
All done!
There wasn't much of a day left, but Jim started working on plastering the corner in the kitchen...
End-of-the-day picture...He got the both sides of the corner done in the kitchen as well as at the top of the nook!
