Jim installed one of the switches we bought last night - this is a temporary one. The very cool light/fan switch we bought requires another part that attaches to the fan. So meanwhile, we needed light in the living room so the switch works great. He put the other switch in the stairwell entrance - that one controls the security lights.
Besides that work and a trip to Drywall Center at lunch for the special tape for splayed angles, Jim worked in the auto bay.
More holes drilled and baffles cut and placed plus Jim worked out the angle for attaching drywall in the corner.
Putting insulation in. Jim had used up all the thick insulation for this area. It's a special order size and he's required to get a whole bundle - which he didn't need. So he's basically making two layers for every piece - he takes the paper off the bottom piece and then puts another piece on top. More work but then we won't have leftover insulation.
By the end of the day, the very complicated hip area is done!! Looks amazing - Jim is so happy that this side is done!
