Since Jim got more insulation and baffles yesterday, he decided to focus the day on working in the auto bay. He has the front side just about done as well as the first ceiling piece up!
He made more tail baffles from the rigid foam and got them installed on the back side, then put the foam baffles in place.
Working on the back...
Then he got all this fiberglass insulation on the side wall! He had to spend some time planning the path that the wiring will take for the lights he plans on putting in the auto bay. That, of course, affects where he can put insulation now and what has to wait until the wiring is done.
Even with all that work, Jim managed to get a few other things done today - like hanging mini-blinds in the wood shop! We wanted to get some coverage on the windows for added thermal protection from the cold so I bought some stock ones yesterday at Lowe's and he got them all up this morning. Makes it feel like a finished room with window coverings on!
Jim is still planning and investigating the furnace we will need. He made this template of the size of the unit he is thinking about - it's amazing how small it is! Hard for me to think that a furnace can be that size and hang on the wall!
This is a picture of the pieces that Jim got cut yesterday for around the closet in the master bedroom. We'll get back to this soon!
