Jim put up the remaining two outside lights today - they look fabulous! We are so thrilled with these lights - now I just have to find good bulbs and we'll be set.
He also installed the rest of the blinds - two in the master bedroom...
And one in the second bedroom...
He starting to bring some of the receptacles to life in the kitchen...
Plus he continues to work on insulation in the living room.
Jim ordered some really nice garage door seals - getting them figured out and attached is another story. He did the garage door framing and installed the opener a long time ago, not knowing how everything would all come together. He made a guide to help him install the seal - we need to get it all up before winter but may do some tweaking come spring.
Back up in the apartment, Jim put the piece of drywall in the hallway above the door...
Getting it all fastened in place. This completes all the drywall in the hallway.
Moving into the bathroom, Jim put the corner bead on...
Corner bead all finished. The drywall is done in the bathroom except for around the shower - that's waiting for shower work.
So then it's time to move back into the living room - our last area to drywall! Jim got the first piece on the side wall cut and marked...
All fastened in place!
Jim's rep at the Drywall Center called and said that they had him on the schedule to deliver drywall tomorrow. But the forecast is for spotty showers tomorrow so Jim deferred delivery until Friday. He has to go there tomorrow to pick up more insulation, so hopefully they'll work out the details. We have some rearranging and scaffolding to take down before we're ready to take delivery.
