7.7.2017

When we were at Lowe's last night, Jim picked up a cheap PVC cap so that he could cap off the end of the shower valve and do some water testing.  You can see the bubble below where it is leaking.  Everything else seems to be good so hopefully he can tighten that up, retest and we'll be good to go.

Jim got lots of siding prep work done this morning too - another window trim and the starter board for the last back section.

He got the first flashing piece installed as well as the spacer.

Then at lunch, he took a trip to the roofing company.  He's needed to go for awhile but hates to take time away.  But he needed to get another roll of flashing as well as another roll of copper for step flashing to come.

Making flashing for the sides of the window...

Installing the flashing...

This window is pretty much finished...top trim on and both sides flashed.

No progress pictures today - because Jim was working between the windows, it was easier for me to stay inside and hand him the shingles so he didn't have to move up more planks.

So here's the end-of-the-day picture...getting close to the top!

Jim wanted to get some grass cut at the end of the day so he knocked off about 5:00.
