Jim pressed on with insulating in the workshop this morning - two more cavities filled!
He painted the primed cut pieces gray this morning and then made a bunch more. I later primed them and he'll get them painted tomorrow morning and they'll be ready to install.
He added clip angles to the studs so that the rigid foam board has a secure backing - then he started putting the fiberglass on the outside. He also put some of the fiberglass that he's replacing from the master bedroom on top of the foam board on the floor.
After lunch, it was time to head back outside where he continued putting up siding. This is a slower process - not only is it working off planks on the roof, but so many pieces have to be cut that there's a lot of up and down.
Making good progress...
End-of-the-day picture...Jim did all he could on the side and then finished up the small pieces of siding underneath the windows.
Jim got more pieces cut for tomorrow and then headed down to work on the car for a bit. He put in the new parts for the locking mechanism on the back door and it's all working. He'll just have to get the door all put back together and then that will be fixed as well.
