When we got up this morning, our generator was running - the power had gone out at 3:30 in the morning. Such a blessing to have the generator to keep the household humming along even when the power is out. The power came back on about 7:30.
Jim may eventually put doors on the electronics box just to keep dust away, so he put hinges on before he installs it...
Jim did the finish welding on the stair railing - here he's using a sandpaper wheel on his die grinder to smooth things out...
Once it was all finished, he hung it up in the shop to get ready for painting.
Then he cleaned the surface...
And started painting...
Drying...
He started welding the next railing piece - pictures to come!
