Jim cleaned out the joints between the tiles this morning and then vacuumed the landing. Then he taped the top of the tile and put a coat of polyurethane on the sill and riser...
In the metal shop, Jim finished the other end of the Tig welder plug by wiring it into the breaker box. He hooked up his gas and tried it out - he hasn't used it since we were in Ohio.
Since we have stair railings down now on the upper sections, Jim wanted to finish the welding on them and get them ready to be finished. Pictures to come!
My postage meter broke - not good considering I've got over 3000 stuffed envelopes ready to be metered within a week or so. The meter rep came out late this afternoon to switch out parts - Jim was on hand to carry parts up and down the stairs and help out as needed, which is always appreciated!
