Jim has installed some knobs on my new cabinet doors - he'll be installing these soon!
Jim installed the spindle frame this morning...
Measuring the distance between the slats to be sure he gets them perfect...
Gorgeous!! I really love the way this turned out.
Putting glue in the countersunk screw holes on the new sill...
Setting the plug into place...
Plugs all done...
In the afternoon, Jim headed to the small lumberyard near us - he wanted to get some 6"x6" wood to use as bracing for the car lift. This is a very small operation - they gave Jim the big posts you see here for free! Then he bought the other two pieces to use for more shelving in the pole barn. All this wood for a grand total of $6.00 - pretty crazy considering the cost of lumber right now.
Using the chain saw to cut the wood...
The volt regulator that Jim ordered for the Tiger Cub came in today so he installed that. While it was apart, he did more investigating and found a socket that is bad. That could have caused some of the issues so he'll replace that.
Jim started the Tiger Cub after he put in the new regulator just to make sure it was charging the battery. The garage doors were open but it still set off the carbon monoxide detector. Even though the levels kept dropping, the noise didn't shut off for awhile no matter what Jim did. At least we know it's working!
