I'll start the blog with a picture of the entrance to the property showing all the work so far on the rock walls.  Little hard to see because of the shadows but it's just so pretty that I had to share!

Jim had some millwork to finish on the face frame assembly this morning.  He also had to solve another design issue.  This bigger cabinet goes to the ceiling and to the back wall of the kitchen; there will be a small cabinet on the back wall next to the others already in place.  However, that cabinet won't go all the way to the ceiling, so there will be a small portion of the cabinet he's building now that will show at the top.  He wanted the design to be consistent with panels, so he cut wood to size...

Then he did a different kind of rabbet cut and glued the panels in place...

This is what the cabinet will look like from the front...

Doing some test fits...

In the afternoon, Jim transitioned back to the auto bay to continue working on the new receptacle for the garage door opener.  He used his vibrating tool to cut the plastic webs...

Using his concrete drill to drill the hole to mount the receptacle box...

Then he mounted the box...

Ran the wiring from the existing box...

Put some insulation on top of the wires to hold it in place...

All done so now the drywall can go back up!

Jim did the wiring inside the box and now the garage door opener can plug in without any draping cords!

Jim checked out the birds nest and found three eggs, so we'll have to leave it in place until they hatch.  You'd think with 17 acres they could find another place to build a nest than on our light fixture!  It is a very neat and pretty nest though!

High 79/Low 55 - beautiful
