May Day is especially fun to celebrate when your name is May!
Jim headed out this morning to pick up the battery for the chipper and to get some diesel fuel, wearing his mask of course!
Now that the cabinet door is painted and Jim has the clips for the hinges, time to attach the door!
There is no place for Jim to attach a stop or bumper so that the door doesn't swing in and stress the hinges, so he is making a small piece out of wood to attach to the opening - more details when it's ready to attach. But look how fabulous it looks!
Jim spent a good portion of the afternoon doing the millwork on the panels for the next cabinets - and there are a lot of panels so a lot of work - and dust (hence the mask for that reason!).
Pieces coming together... These are the plywood versions - they will go on the cabinets where only the inside will show.
This is the solid maple version for the outside cabinet because this will show! These are going to be great cabinets - look how tall they are!
