Once the frame is assembled, he has some hand routing work to do so that the shelf can fit. He has one side done and is setting up his guide to cut the other side...
Doing the routing...
Then...ta da! This cabinet is now assembled!
Jim showing me what it will look like with the face frame on...
Jim also worked on the garage door opener today. He had to make a mounting board for another sensor - this one senses if something is underneath the door by the slack in the cable. It called for specific directions on exactly where to mount it. Then he got all the wiring done...
He has started taking the screws out to remove this piece of drywall...
Drywall off and he's using his hot knife to cut a groove in the foam to run wires for another receptacle near the opener...
I went into Saratoga for errands today including getting some oil at Walmart so that Jim can change the oil in the Bobcat. Starting to drain the oil... This is a slow process - Jim buttoned it up at the end of the day and will repeat this tomorrow to make sure all the old oil is drained.
High 71/Low 40 - beautiful! |
