Then he attached the tiny stop inside the cabinet...
It was about 20 degrees warmer today - yesterday definitely felt like spring; today more like fall. Which is perfect for us! So we were back outside to continue our tree work. Jim decided it would be better to dig our holes for the trees first, so we got out the tape and decided where we wanted the next two to go and Jim just turned over a shovelful of dirt.
Then he brought up the excavator and dug the holes...
We took both Bobcats down to the wall area and Jim used the excavator to dig the next trees - there were two growing right next to each other again, plus a huge rock that Jim had to get out of the way.
Jim had to physically separate these two trees...
We put the small one aside for the moment and he carried the big one to the Bobcat...
And we brought it up to the deeper hole...
Filling it back in...
Jim dug out the next tree... This also had a much smaller one attached - we left that one in place and we'll transplant it tomorrow.
Jim knew that this tree would require a deeper hole than he dug for it, so he decided to dig the 3 holes for trees along the edge of the woods on his way up to that hole.
Once the holes were all dug, we want back to pick up the tree...
Setting it in place...
Then planting the other two along the edge of the woods...
Filling it in...
The stone wall is looking much better without trees growing inside it! We're excited to get this wall back in shape.
The three trees along the woods' edge...
The trees along the upper driveway...
