He did lots of sanding today...
Then put a coat of primer on the maple side of the cabinet...
All primed and drying...
Then a coat of polyurethane on other sections...
Jim's new voltage regulator for the Tiger Cub came in so Jim got that installed and then did some cleaning while putting it back together. It was an on/off rainy day so he'll be able to try it out soon.
This is the new garage door opener that we picked up yesterday at Lowe's. This unit attaches directly to the spring mechanism of the door rather than use a typical center track attachment. Since the ceiling is so high in the auto bay, a regular system just wouldn't work. Jim did a lot of research before ordering this one so it should work great. He has some reading up to do before starting installation.
Happy Birthday to Kyle! This is just another occasion we'll have to make up when life resumes some kind of new normal, but we FaceTimed with him this morning which was nice. I also saw that May 11th is Twilight Zone Day - hmmm...cue the creepy music!
