Jim turned his glued-together pieces of scrap maple into shelves!

Then he started glueing up some more pieces - these will be the movable shelves.

Then it was time to put a coat of polyurethane on all these parts and pieces...

Jim has stations set up so that he can spray and move to an area to dry while he sprays more.

Lots of pieces drying...

After lunch, we headed outside.  Some really good news - Jim moved the lawn mower outside and tested it and the battery is now charging!  That fix apparently worked so that's a relief because the grass is going to need mowing soon.

We worked on clearing more trees and thorns from the area to the side rear of the pole barn.

This tree is growing crookedly right into the fir trees so it has to go...

Same with this one...

And this one!

Cutting up the downed trees...

The pine trees really look great without all those other trees interfering - beautiful!  Nice view of the mountains too!
