Jim worked all morning in the metal shop - he put up insulation on the side wall!
Then he did the electrical work on the outlets - you can see he brought the one on the drywalled wall live.
He started up all the vehicles and then brought the truck up the hill to its winter resting place. That way they are both easily accessible for Jim to start up frequently. Plus, we want to be able to use the turn around this winter.
Jim wasn't sure if he was going to be able to maneuver this next piece of drywall in place in the wood shop. He tried a multitude of different ways but it just wouldn't fit.
So he had to cut the top between the truss notches. He knew he would have to do this around all the plumbing but was hoping to get one more piece done without cutting.
Putting the cut-off piece up...
Then he was able to get the piece up into place...
Cutting out the receptacle box...
Fastening...
In the metal shop, Jim had to put up a piece of angle to attach the drywall.
This was a crazy piece to measure and mark - the piece has to stair step around the beam, the wall and the Pex tubing.
That's a crazy looking piece!
Moving the piece into place...
Cutting out the light box...
All finished! Jim also worked some on the wiring of this light into the other light circuits.
As the work day ended, snow started falling - our first real snowfall with a bit of accumulation.
