Jim had a totally packed car after his trip to Lowe's yesterday so it took awhile to unload everything and unpack some things! This load includes the urinal, utility tub and medicine cabinet.
It took some playing phone tag, but Jim finally got in touch with the building inspector and set up an appointment for him to come out today at 1:30. Of course, Jim spent the morning making sure everything was in good shape, all cleaned up and ready to go. Jerry was happy with everything and spent most of the time chatting to Jim! So Jim passed with flying colors - yay! Another huge block to have checked off, especially since plumbing isn't Jim's favorite.
Now that the inspection is over, Jim can release all the pressure from the lines and take off his test equipment.
Using a giant wrench to take off the threaded cap on the stack in the metal shop.
Then taking out the balloon plug...
I went out later in the afternoon and we spent some time doing more moving. We moved all of the boxes that Julia and I moved up to the master bedroom up into the attic space. We also moved a few boxes up into the workshop attic space. Jim was able to gather together all his unused plumbing fixtures and put them away into that space also.
