I had to run into Staples to pick up some flyers and run a couple errands - Jim headed out to the property. Thankfully, as I write this, the rain that was predicted today never materialized. The rain yesterday was light and didn't cause any trench issues.
Jim continued working on the security light circuit. He got the power run between the boxes and into the breaker box. Here's the switch in the living room for the lights all pigtailed and ready to go...
Jim also got the wire run for the thermostat (yes, there's always more to think about with electricity!). The wire goes across the top of the living room with the media cables over to the wall area in the bathroom.
Jim then turned his attention to attaching the controls to the well pump in the utility room. He first made a steel blocking piece with a hole for all the wires.
However, because of the way the control box mounted, he didn't have steel screws long enough. So he added a wood mounting board.
Then attached the control box.
