Jim worked more on the plumbing runs today...added the washer Pex!

You can see the new Pex run connected to the black elbows...

Then they come up in the laundry room wall.  Jim also installed the valve control box for the washer - he needs to determine exactly what height he wants it to be and then he will permanently mount it.

He installed special caps into the tubes for the kitchen and used his crimping tool to seal everything.  He'll need the line all sealed when it gets inspected and tested.

He got new connections to the shower valve - then he has special adaptors that connect to the Pex tubing.

More insulation work - Jim made more rigid foam backing for the valley rafters...

If you look closely, you'll see that Jim drilled holes in this rafter - this is so that this cavity can be vented through the adjacent cavity.

Putting up ceiling baffles on top of the rigid foam...

Then it was more fiberglass insulation - this is in the laundry room ceiling.

After stuffing the ends with batting, Jim started working on the bathroom ceiling.

Laundry room ceiling looking into the bathroom...getting lots of area done!

At the very end of the day, Jim did some wall sections in the living room.

Working on this wall cavity in the living room...

About 5:00, we headed to Lowe's - Jim had an order to pick up.  We also wanted to pick a paint color for the utility room.  We found a light gray - Gravity - that we think will look nice.

High 58/Low 47 - another drizzly day
