This was another amazing day!  We're still on Cloud 9 ecstatic after having all the masonry work done and things cleaned up.  This is the staging area where we have had bricks forever - it looks so nice now.

Jim got a call this morning that the guy who was interested in the Bobcat was coming to look at it around lunchtime.  So Jim spent time this morning doing some last minute checks and I did some cosmetic clean up when I got there.  It's been a great machine - look how nice it looks!

Two guys came after lunch to look over the Bobcat.  They own a honey business about 45 minutes south of us.  They were really impressed with what good condition the Bobcat was in - so they bought it!!  They wanted the forks too so we will definitely have to replace those - they are a necessity.

So we are on Cloud 9!  The timing is perfect - by the time their check clears and they come to pick it up, our new one should hopefully be here.  Plus, Jim actually sold this Bobcat for a little more than he paid for it 5 years ago!  So he put 500 hours on it for free - can't beat that.  But all that is due to Jim's due diligence when he found this Bobcat originally, plus he keeps things in great condition.  Sure pays off!  This has been a great machine - but going to work in a honey business will be like a vacation for the Bobcat so we're glad it's going to a good home!

Obviously, there were a lot of distractions today but Jim still managed to get lots of work done.  Working on the end of the overhang...

Putting up the sheathing...

...and then the drip edge.

All finished...

While all the guys were playing with the Bobcat, I left and went to pick up another roll of membrane from the roofing company.  Then Jim was able to get that on the sheathing.

Ta da - time for shingles again!  Jim brought down some bundles...

Marking his lines to keep everything straight...

Putting up the first shingle...

Making good progress....

Meanwhile, I did more painting on the siding pieces.  We had an inside painting area...

...and an outside location!

End-of-the-day shot...overhang looking great!
