Jim put the last coat of polyurethane on the inner window frames this morning.

Then he headed out to work on the garage door spring assembly.  He got both sides attached and was putting up the center bracket.

After lunch, we took a road trip.  Jim got a call from ABC Roofing that the hip shingles and trim board were in so we first headed out there to pick them up.  We had a pleasant surprise because someone else had ordered the same color flat roof shingles and Jim's rep was able to piggy back Jim's hip shingle order with it so we didn't have to pay for any shipping!

After that, we went to the lumberyard a bit north of us near Lake George.  It had been cloudy with a few sprinkles this morning but the afternoon was gorgeous.  Terrible picture but this place has a nice wood rack - Jim was a little jealous!

Then Jim was able to just sort through and pick out the pieces he wanted...all quarter-sawn select pine.

Once we were home, he finished up the work on the center bracket and then unwrapped all the door panels - that's the next step!
