The cantilever window is all finished so it's time to put it back!  First, Jim had to dismantle all the temporary window coverings...

And reinstall hardware...

Then he had to put the window outside and try to get it set in all the bushings.  It was nerve-wracking to watch - I definitely would have dropped it! - but Jim just calmly handles it!

Once everything was in place, time to fasten...

It looks so pretty!  Jim still has to stain and finish the inside window but at least the part that is exposed to the elements when we open the window is all safe.  Nice view too!

Jim was hoping that the door set he had would fit this door so it would all use the same key, but the holes were in the wrong position and it just wouldn't work.  When Jim was at Lowe's last night, he picked up a new handle...looks good plus we can lock everything up now.

Even though the paint on the man door is dry to touch, it could still mar.  To try and prevent that when he paints the other side of the door, he fastened an old set of door hinges that were bigger than the door so the door isn't sitting directly on the saw horses.

Then he sanded the door to get ready for paint...

Off to church!
