He put the first coat of polyurethane on the cantilever window...
Then he cleaned all the hardware and the glass, took apart all the temporary window blocking, reinstalled the top sash and remounted the blinds. The window looks beautiful now!
In anticipation of painting the door jamb for the man door, Jim took off all the hardware on the jamb and sanded everything. Then he taped over the still and surrounding wall area...
Jim set up sawhorses in the pole barn and we moved the man door out there to finish drying.
Then he started putting all the hardware on the garage door panels...
First one installed...
Working on second panel...
Jim had to then run the cable up to the springs, then he continued adding panels...
All the panels are done - looks SO good! He'll work on getting it working tomorrow.
At the end of the day, we took the box truck out for a spin. It's been working great - no smoke - but Jim just wanted to run it. He also wanted the weight of the truck on the new gravel mixture on the driveway to pack it down. He went up and down a few times just to compact it.
