Putting the first coat of polyurethane on the window frame in the master bedroom...
Jim put the bottom door seal on the man door and then we brought it in from the pole barn. Jim had to get it in place and fit on the hinges - not an easy task with this heavy steel door. I think he could have used a couple more hands here...
Putting the lockset and handle back in...
Then he could remove the plywood temporary door - which worked great!
Looks beautiful! Jim is going to wait a couple days to let the paint continue to harden before he puts door seals on.
Jim took the rest of the scaffolding down behind the stairwell. He stored the platforms and cross braces on his shelving in the pole barn...
Then he loaded up the scaffolding on the Bobcat and took it up to the shed...
While he was up there, he brought down some plywood to store in the pole barn. This will be good plywood for making shelves.
Plywood all stacked neatly against the side wall and the Bobcat is back inside! Jim can now lock the pole barn up and everything inside is safe!
Doing the last of the painting on the outside of the stairwell!
He even cleaned up the conduit going into the house and gave it a coat of paint for protection...
The stairwell looks amazing!
