Then they spent time getting things out of the auto bay and into the pole barn. Jim moved the pallet of leftover siding shingles and then they took them off the pallet and stacked them up behind a support arm of the pole barn.
They also moved my sewing table back down into the metal shop. This is what we've been using as our kitchen table but Jim will be starting to assemble the new frame upstairs soon!
Kyle also brought more leftover formica pieces. Jim will be able to use these to line more cabinet shelves - thanks, Kyle!
Jim and Kyle moving the heavy brick and block saw into the barn...
Kyle left about 3:00 to head back down to NYC, probably along with millions of his closest friends heading back after the long holiday weekend. It was great to spend some time with him!
Love Sunday UPS deliveries - Jim had ordered this trailer dolly and was expecting it tomorrow. This will help him be able to more easily move bigger equipment around. He got it all assembled...
Then he put it to good use to get the chipper into the barn and maneuver it around...
This probably won't be its final location but Jim got it all tucked into the corner. If you look closely, you can see the siding stacked in the corner as well.
Then he took the Bobcat up the hill and got the mortar mixer from where its been living outside the little shed in the woods.
He gave it a good wash...
And then brought it into the pole barn.
Again, he used the dolly to maneuver it into place. So nice that this will be out of the weather now.
By clearing out the auto bay, Jim was able to get his 4Runner back into the building.
High 78/Low 52 - gorgeous! |
