7.17.2019

Today was an on/off drizzly day so a perfect day for Jim to continue his cleaning/rearranging work in the metal shop.

But first, we had to wait for the repair guy for the washer.  The washer door makes a chattering noise during certain cycles and before the warranty expires, we wanted to have it checked out.  Of course, the guy who initially came said there was really no adjustments to make but he ordered a new latch.  The guy who came today said pretty much the same thing when he installed the latch.

However, after he left, Jim loosened the door screws and tried to adjust the door a bit.  It seems to have made a big difference in the sloppiness of the latched door - I'll wash a load of towels tomorrow and we'll see.  But while we were in washer mode, we drained and cleaned the drain pump.  There was really nothing to clean so another good indication of the quality of our water.

Jim emptying out a cabinet...

He got two more cabinets moved over to the back wall and filled back up!

The auto bay is really clearing out - we'll be ready to think about epoxying the floor before too long!

Jim had to track down his pro rep at Home Depot because he never received the garage door quote - the guy had some issues with changing the type of spring Jim wanted so he's waiting for a call from his sales rep.  Always someone passing the buck...

However, we got some good news on the Corian - Jim got a call from the company who gave him the shipper information to call.  They will be delivering the Corian tomorrow afternoon!  I'm so excited to see it!
