So the night before last, sleep was disrupted with the crazy fox noises. Last night, Kyle was coming up late for a visit and wasn't expected to get here until about 2:00 am. I was in bed and Jim was dozing on the couch when a little after midnight we heard a huge crash. I jumped up and we walked around trying to see what happened. We eventually found that one of our bathroom pictures had fallen off the wall. We had used those strong velcro hangars on the back and it just came loose. Miraculously, this was the top of three pictures and it fell flat on it's back without hurting the frame, the wall or the other pictures. However, it required Jim to bring up the shop vac and vacuum the floor at midnight. Sleep is elusive these days - ha!
But so nice to see Kyle again! It won't be a long visit but we haven't seen him since Christmas so there was lots to catch up on.
Now that Jim has the soffit done in the back of the pole barn, time to take the scaffolding down. However, they just started and we got a brief downpour. They continued working as much as they could!
Scaffolding all down. We'll get it set back up by the stairwell to work on the dormer window project soon!
Off to church...
