Jim worked on planing some wood today and getting it stacked on the wood rack. Once he got this piece of maple planed, it actually was more of a tiger maple with its unique markings. Would be a shame to cover that up with paint so Jim may put it aside for now.
In anticipation of working on the Corian, Jim needed to see what supplies he needs to order. He practiced cutting a piece of our Corian from Ohio on the table saw and it did really well. He ordered a special blade for his circular saw.
Not one to let a little thing like a heat wave stop him from working, Jim finished up the skirt and end flashing on the back of the pole barn.
Then he did lots of outside work! He needed to do some cleanup of the area around the well so that he can use the mower and not have any more issues.
Loading up rocks - he took them up to the area near where we have our logs stored where there is an old rock wall.
Just a first start in cleaning up this area, but looks so much better already!
Getting scaffolding out of the way...
The next jobs are to get rid of some stumps...he got one out before it was time to call it quits for the day!
