The wood frame for the table is all finished now...
Jim had just finished cleaning up from putting another coat of paint on his wood rack arms when he heard a truck backing up the driveway. Of course, they were supposed to call when they were close so that Jim could be ready but that didn't happen. There's our generator!
Jim had to switch the bucket for the forks and then take the pallet off the back of the truck...
And take it up the driveway...
Wow - very exciting!
Jim wanted to continue grading in this area so he put the bucket back on and worked on it before lunch.
Looking good!
Then it was time to open the box!
They really had it packed nice, with a wooden frame around the generator.
Taking the control box out...
Taking apart the frame...
Using the key to unlock the cover...
Checking out the inside...
This is the control box - Jim will have to figure out how he wants to wire up the power now - whew!
Cover on - a very nice looking system.
For now, Jim wanted to put the generator on the new concrete pad to get it out of the way so he could continue grading.
Putting it down on the pad...
Jim will have to figure out the best way to get it off the pallet on permanently on the pad but for now it looks good!
Back to grading....
This area is looking really wonderful!
We knocked off a little bit early and went into Lowe's - Jim needed more paint to finish painting the table frame pieces. We also picked up water softener salt while we were out and topped off the night with a quick bite at Applebee's.
High 81/Low 59 - nice! |
