Today was kind of a loose end day for Jim.  He put my picture back up in the bathroom - hopefully it will stay where it belongs now!

Jim has soffit pieces ordered for this section that haven't come in yet, but this was a loose end that Jim has meant to do for awhile - cover up the holes underneath the overhang.  Since it's just temporary, ht just cut pieces of plywood to fit in the spaces.

All closed up...

A huge loose end is getting the truck ready to sell - but that's not going to be easy.  Jim discovered that the door panels and hinges are just rusting/decaying away.

The view from inside - the bottom panel is just hanging by a thread.

He found where he can order individual panels and hardware but the first step is to try and take it down.  Everything is quite rusty and taking the spring off safely was no easy matter.

Taking the bottom panel off...

The first one was tough to do by himself plus it's the heaviest with all the latching mechanism - but he got it off.  First step done.

The pumpkin (aka the cement mixer) can now come off the back of the truck and into the pole barn.

It would have been easier to move the pumpkin without this pallet underneath but Jim didn't want to scratch the floor unnecessarily.  So he had to use some lever action to get it moved!

All tucked in now...

Jim's been want to wax my car forever, so since we got it washed yesterday it was the perfect time for us to do it.

Wow - it looks like new!

High 80/Low 56 -gorgeous!
