7.1.2019

Wow - hard to believe it's July - how did that happen?  That's why Jim feels like there aren't enough days left to finish his before winter projects.

This morning, he flipped the wood table frame and put a coat of polyurethane on the other side...

He then started cleaning the metal frame pieces in preparation for painting.  It's a two-step process so it takes a while.

Then he started painting.  However, he ran into major problems with this paint sprayer and kept having to stop, clean out the gun, even removed the paint and cleaned everything.  A frustrating experience for sure.

But he got the first side painted and the pieces look really nice...

We were expecting the generator delivery today but they called this morning and said that it wouldn't be until tomorrow.  So Jim took the opportunity to do a little grading in this area.  Another summer project is also to pour a concrete step or patio outside the stairwell doors so he needs to start planning for that as well.

Grading...

Doing some hand shoveling around the pad...

Looks great for the first pass!

High 81/Low 58 - beautiful!
