This morning, Jim unclamped the other half of the bench top, did the hand planing underneath, and then we carried it over onto the workbench. Sure is going to be nice!
He ordered some clamps and found some parts that he will pick up at Home Depot. But until then, he made a longer pipe clamp. He had some pipe clamps that that threads on both sides so he found a coupler that would connect the two clamps. This isn't glued yet but he has it fit together and clamped to the top of the bench just to keep it straight.
Next he worked on gluing up some of his new pine pieces...
Then it was off to church!
