This morning, Jim took all the clamps off the workbench top - it looks awesome!  He still has some work to do on it - edges, sanding, polyurethane - but it's now very much usable!

Taking apart the couplers that extended the clamps and putting them back to normal...

Then...drumroll, please...Jim started on the face frame for the first kitchen cabinet!  This will be the microwave cabinet and he used the maple that we bought at the lumberyard.  So excited!

Jim put another branch and blast gate on the dust collection system - he'll eventually have conduit going over to the planer but for now he is able to connect the hose and use it that way.

Using the table saw to cut pieces to the right size...

It was a beautiful day so later in the afternoon, we headed outside.  The goal today was to finally get rid of the tree that we cut down probably two years ago.  We had dragged the truck and branches up to the top of the hill and there it stayed.  Time to clean it up!

As Jim cut all the branches off the truck, I piled them up - we'll get them chipped up before long.

Cutting the trunk into sections.  We'll move these to a staging area with the Bobcat later and we may get the log splitter out at some point this summer.

Looks so much better!

Cutting some of the scraggly undergrowth trees to keep exposing all the pines...
