Jim worked this morning finishing up the first run for the dust collection system - all connected to the planer and vacuum and he tried it out!
Jim had called the gas company on Tuesday to see about getting the tank filled. The prices were low and the driveway in good shape. Unless you want to pay for a specified time and date, they can't guarantee when they can come. Jim was hoping that it would be this week both because the driveway is in good shape and to take advantage of the low price. He got a call mid-morning that they were on their way!
Before they filled up, the gauge was at 30% - right where Jim had predicted and still holding plenty of gas. That's such a relief because we had a cold winter and we didn't have to worry about running out of gas!
They put 500 gallons in so now we are registering over 80%. This guy said that he doesn't like to fill above that, especially going into summer when the gas will expand with the heat. We're so thrilled that we were able to get it taken care of now.
Jim's new fittings for the air compressor came in today so he reworked all of that and got it working with no leaks...
Oops...Jim was doing some organizing in the shop today and discovered that he hadn't gotten back to drywalling and there was still some plaster left in the banjo. Which is now a mold colony. It's all soaking in a bucket of water as we speak!
In the late afternoon, Jim headed back outside to do some more cleanup of undergrowth, this time bringing out the little chainsaw for some of the bigger trees. He also did a little more gravel duty.
Our snow cover is almost gone but not quite!
