6.18.2017

Hope everyone had a Happy Father's Day!  Jim and I are thinking about our own Dads today as everyday and missing them!  Jim spent his Father's Day at the property - no surprise there!  He's up to almost 9 straight months without a day off from working!

Jim worked a bit more on plumbing - taking apart the union yet again.  At the moment, he thinks it might not be leaking but we're a little paranoid after all this so we'll see!

Jim worked up in the apartment - he wanted to test his plan on filling the box beams partway with foam to see how that will work.  He first had to drill a pilot hole and then used a bigger bit to expand the hole size.

Drilling more holes...

He did the same under this window too - this cavity needs to be all full of foam.  Here he is squirting the foam in!  It seemed to work really well.

Working on the box beam...

The guy Jim had talked to about helping him move the bandsaw was supposed to get back with him this weekend.  Jim texted but no response.  Frustrating.

Jim knocked off early and got the front part of the property mowed - it's really growing fast with this weather!
