6.10.2017

Jim got the special Teflon plumbing tape he's been waiting for so he worked a bit taking apart the manifold pieces again and using the tape.  He wants to use it on all the joints so he'll do that in the coming days.  We continue to run some water through the hydrant, letting the well clear a bit before we get the water tested.

Then Jim was back working on the overhang pieces - he got the other side piece on and then started working on the hip.

You can see that there is very little room for Jim to get his driver in to get the pieces fastened.

The next job was putting up the first piece of fascia board - again, a difficult job especially with all the scaffolding.  Jim had to try and maneuver the piece into place and then hold it up and fasten it while he's probably 2' away from the wall!

It takes quite a while to get set up to work on the siding - it requires lots of tools and there are 5 different siding sizes, so getting everything up to where Jim needs it is a job in itself!  (And the same goes for cleaning up!)

Making good progress...

Jim had painted pieces this morning that I primed yesterday.  This afternoon, he got more cut...

...and then I got the edges and backs primed.

Continuing on...

Jim also had to stop and spend some time figuring out where he wants the vent for the microwave to come out.

End-of-the-day picture!
