Once to got back to Angel, he worked on plumbing again. He put together the pump system, including putting in a new pressure gauge because the old one didn't work. He also started coming up with a system to take water out to the lawn hydrant off the driveway. You can see that it will have its own shut-off valve too, which will be nice.
In the afternoon, it was back to siding. However, we weren't working too long before a dark cloud appeared overhead and dropped some rain on us for about 15 minutes. Just long enough to have to scurry to put everything away and to make the scaffolding and house wet! However, it was a bit windy so things dried off quickly.
Once Jim got up to the top rows, he decided that he wanted to do things a little differently. So he took off the trim board to enable him to hide the screws a bit more.
These last two rows took a long time to do - each piece had to be cut down in size. Then the top row required the screws to be at the very top of the siding. If Jim tried to nail it, it would just shatter the siding. So he had to predrill each piece and then screw the piece down.
Siding all done and the trim board back up!
Doing some marking for a head start tomorrow...
End-of-the-day - the siding is all done on this side!
With the rain we've had, Jim had to knock off a bit early and cut the lower part of the yard down by the driveways - the grass had gotten really long!
