We are spending Valentine's weekend hunkered inside the apartment! The bitter cold temperatures have found their way into our neck of the woods...when I woke up this morning, the outside temperature was -16 with a wind chill of -35! We were brave last night and walked to church in the cold - thankfully, it's only about a 10 minute walk each way. Of course, when it gets this cold, Jim worries about the safety of all the vehicles at the site.
While we've only had an incredible 8.5" of snow the whole season, that looks like it may change over the next couple days. A winter storm is forecast from tomorrow afternoon to Tuesday evening with heavy ice conditions and a possibility of 4-8" of snow!
