It had rained overnight some, so Jim spent time in the shop, working on getting the package drop box pieces made...
These end pieces have lots of different bends and cuts...
More hemming...
We got the 4Runner loaded up with Jim's tools and all the pieces and went down to the box. But the top of the box was still damp. He tried the end piece on and it fit, so that was good, but he's going to let it dry out instead of putting metal onto a damp surface.
He did take the hornet nest out of the tree. He had to cut a branch because the nest had built itself around the branch...
For reference, you can see how big it is compared to Jim's size 12 shoe!
He spent the rest of the day doing some clean up and then some more welding/work on his wood rack guard pieces.
