Jim got another piece of roof panel cut and attached to the roof of the air conditioner cage....

He had to tilt the cage up so that he had better access to the back...

The end piece takes a lot of work, so first measuring...

Using the shear to cut the panel...

Taking it outside to mark the edges...

Lots of cuts to be able to get the edges hemmed...

More cuts...

Out to the pole barn to hem the long edge...

Hemming the top and bottom...

Attaching the clips...

Fitting the last piece and seaming the edges...

Setting the cage back on the concrete pad...

Final seaming...

All complete and looks fabulous!  Plus, this will now protect the air conditioning unit from falling snow.

Looks so good at the back of the house...

That job completed, time for the final loose ends on the pavilion roof.  Jim's new rivets came in.  They are a heavier gauge and try as he might, he couldn't get it attached with the rivet tool he has.

He got a couple round steel pieces that he slipped onto the ends of the tool to provide extra leverage...

It still took a lot of muscle power, but it worked!

A rivet in the middle of the two ridge pieces at the overlap point just to keep things flat...

Same with the front...

The pavilion is officially finished too!  Absolutely gorgeous!  All that's left is to take down the scaffolding, but it was not the job to do right before running, so we'll do that soon.

We did walk down to the package drop box to confirm measurements for its roof...

Then he did a little grass cutting before coming in to run.

We had a very rare air quality alert in our area today from the Canadian wildfires but our mountains do a good job of keeping things pretty clear.
