8.12.2024

 Jim brought the 4Runner up to the pavilion today to load up all the scrap steel from the roof.  It's amazing to me that this little pile is all he has left!  He'll drop this and the cardboard off at the dump soon.


Then it was time to replicate his sample end cap and try to make the complicated cuts/bends on the ridge piece, which is a much heavier gauge of steel...


Looks great!


Time to try it out on top - even getting it up there was a challenge but it looks good!


Now to do the other side.  In a perfect world, he would do this up on top of the roof when one side is done, but that's going to be almost impossible.   He's thinking of options, but working on the other side...


Trying it out again - both sides fit great.  He is deciding on next steps so this was a good stopping point.
