Jim started carving the front shoulder seat today...
He got the back hip rafter up and into place...
Then started drilling the holes for the pegs...
Next it was time to cut the last hip rafter...
Cutting all the angles...
Beveling the sides...
The last hip rafter is up in place!

It's becoming quite the structure!
Jim got the front hip rafter pegged and then did the final bevel cuts - looks great!
We're all going to head to Glens Falls now, which is the community to the northeast of us, for a dinner out - lots to celebrate!
