Jim started the day off by heading to the ophthalmologist for his 6-month check - thankfully he got a good report!
After coming home and eating breakfast, he headed down to the auto bay. I had noticed a noise in my car so Jim wanted to take a look at it. He thinks it's the water pump, so he's going to order parts. For now, my car is off the road!
After lunch, Jim got busy working on carving the rafters...
He was busy at work when we heard the sounds of a truck backing up. Jim had scheduled our septic tank pumping for this afternoon. They were supposed to call before they showed up, but that didn't happen. Jim had put cones up to block the driveway in preparation - the big truck would damage the driveway. So he got set up just before the driveway and dragged his hose over to the tank...
These guys definitely don't get paid enough, I'm sure, for this job! He said everything looked good though, and just to keep doing what we are. We're very careful and cautious about what goes down the drains and it pays off!
Then Jim headed back to the pavilion. Using the saw to make the initial cuts...
Then the rest is all carving...
He got 12 done in the front and went around to the back where he got 3 more cut - making good progress!
