About 2:00 this morning, we lost utility power. What a relief it is to have the generator kick in right away and know that all is safe and secure. Jim got a text from National Grid saying they expected power to be restored between 7:00-8:00 in the morning; at about 7:05, utility power was back on.
Jim worked on the car this morning. Now that all the parts are off the car, he's working on cleaning up connections and parts and getting ready to put it back together. More new parts arrived, and even more this evening...
Jim continued working on the purlins in the shop this afternoon...
Then headed outside to do some testing - they are going to look great!
He spent quite a bit of time trying to figure out the complex angle where the end of the purlin meets the hip rafter. He's close but wants to do a little more computer work. Beautiful fall background to work in!
More fall pictures ahead. I had to go to the printer today and at first the sun was out and lighting up the mountains...
But at the Hudson River just a bit further, clouds came out - still a gorgeous view!
