Jim brought the other two half-rafters up to the pavilion today and set them in place.
Then he put up a toe board so that he can work on the pegging the top joint...
He strapped it tight, marked the spots for the pegs, and started drilling...
He got all of the pegs in the top joint. Then he started working on the half rafters. He got the bottom of the back one pegged, and then moved to the front...
Next, he drilled the hole through the hip rafter for the top joint...
Before he came in to get ready for church, he got both tops of the half rafters pegged.
