Jim continues to bleed air out of the lines since opening up the system a few weeks ago...
He went back to work modifying the car dollies today - he's drilling a larger hole at the lowest end of the dolly so that he can attach a hook for moving the car around. The little handles that came originally didn't work well...
He had to grind all the areas where he will weld so that the weld will bond. This one is ready to go - he will probably weld tomorrow.
Time for some septic maintenance - cleaning the filter. First, unscrewing the top cover...
Jim tried to see if he could lift the concrete cover off, but after sitting for a year, it really seals itself.
Thank goodness for the Bobcat!
Spraying off the filter...
Using the Bobcat to put the concrete cap back in place...
Screwing the lid back on. Jim is going to see about getting the system pumped out again. It will have been two years to the day tomorrow. They told us every 3-4 years, but we have another person using the system now.
We emptied out part of the last cabinet to be moved and Jim got it over close to the auto bay. He will have to move the 4Runner out of the way in order to put the cabinet in place, so that's a job for another day. He took the Tiger Cub out though and did some grass cutting to end the day before coming in to get ready for church.
