Mom and I both had doctor appointments this morning so we were out and about early and didn't get home until after lunch.

Jim showed us that he got the bottom center structure of the package box all welded together...

He was showing us the concrete form tube he bought at Home Depot last night as well as how things will all fit together!

Jim ordered a new part for his press - this will allow him to bend the metal so that he can make another set of car dollies.  He ordered it unassembled because it saved a big chunk of money - he can weld all the pieces and assemble it himself.

The rest of his day was spent getting ready for concrete tomorrow.  He cut a transition curb piece that will be the stopping edge point...

We marked the concrete level lines all around the inside and then Jim got out all the tools and equipment he will need for the job.  Kyle's planning on coming tomorrow to help - it will be so nice to have this done before winter weather sets in!
