This turned out to be quite the crazy day - I think Jim's head was spinning! He had an early call that his steel order was being delivered after a few mixups last week.
He got the Bobcat down and loaded up, then brought the steel up and put it in the pole barn.
Jim has been trying for weeks to get a shipper to pick up his car that is stored in a neighbor's chicken coop back in Ohio. He has to work through brokers who have to work with shippers - plus Jim was very specific on what he needed because the car doesn't run. He got a call that a shipper is able to pick up the car and meet all Jim's requirements. So, he loaded up his 4Runner (so glad it has good brakes and a tuneup!) with tools he may need, and headed out today. It's going to be a very fast turnaround - the guy is planning a quick pickup with a delivery the next morning. Jim will practically have to follow him back!
I hated to see him leave and he wasn't anxious to go either, but we really need to get the car here. Our neighbor passed away and things aren't as stable as they once were with the property. Pray for safe travels and a successful trip for him!
