Happy first day of Spring! Here's what the first day of spring looks like here...we love it and aren't anxious for the snow to melt!
More of the rock wall is being exposed now...
Jim took all the clamps off the cooler countertop to start the finishing process...
Cleaning up all the edges...
Cutting the beveled edge... You can see how these shavings just go everywhere - including all over Jim! He put some cardboard up to block some places but it's kind of futile.
It takes lots of passes but the first cove cut is all done!
Then Jim switched gears a bit to work on the staircase. We love how the first step looked so time to press on. He sanded this stair run...
Then started putting the stain on...
