Jim started the day with a visit to the eye doctor for a routine check - all his numbers and scans were good so we're very grateful for that!

Once home, he got busy working on laying out the placement of cabinets and marking edges on the Corian...

He had the edge pieces cut so he started gluing on the first layer - good thing he just bought some more clamps!

Cleaning up the inside edges after gluing...

Clamps off and sanding glue joints...

All three layers are now done and drying!

Jim has been wanting to visually check how much propane we have left in the tank after the cold winter.  Even though it got to 60° today, Jim still had to shovel a foot of snow off to get to the top of the tank!  The model that he keeps on the computer showed that we should have 41% left; we actually have 40%.  Amazing computer modeling!  But comforting to know that we still have plenty.  We'll be able to wait until the driveway thaws and firms up before getting the tank filled.

After taking trash out, there wasn't much time left in the workday, but Jim did some prep work to get ready to plaster tomorrow.

New York State just opened up Covid vaccine eligibility for my age group yesterday morning.  I was lucky enough to snag an appointment for this afternoon at the Walgreens in the neighboring town.  I got the Pfizer; Jim got the Moderna.  So we're both on the way to being protected - and hopefully a trip back to Ohio to see my mom will be in the near future!
